About

Hello! Welcome to my website!

My name is Alice and I am a scientist by day and a potter by night.

I am originally from Italy and started ceramics in 2013 while in high school in Canada. I immediately fell in love with the craft but had to take a break from it during university. I was finally able to pick it up again in 2021 when I moved to London (UK) to pursue a PhD in molecular biology.

Since then, I attended courses, practised independently at member studios, and even taught ceramics to beginners. I am currently a member at Stable Yard Pottery in North London.

All the ceramics you find on this website are unique, designed and handmade by me. I mostly make wheel-thrown stoneware tableware, including the infamous farfalle pasta mug - now a registered design!

Pottery is a huge source of happiness, grounding, and comfort to me, and I hope that the pieces I make bring you as much joy in using them as they bring me in making them.

I regularly sell my work at markets and craft fairs, all the details of which I share on my IG profile and newsletter. In 2024, I was honoured to be selected to participate in the Mayor of London "London Made Me" Retail Development Programme, which gave me the opportunity to sell my pots alongside 11 other incredibly talented makers at the iconic Battersea Power Station.
